Future research – SHIFT

SHIFT – An inspirational future envision on the biodiversity for the TU in Eindhoven.

For a project in the second year of the TCL study, my classmates (Rafal Bosz – Bianca Crul – Marlou Drummen – Kathy de Gier) and I were assigned by the Technical University in Eindhoven to investigate the future of biodiversity within the food and leisure sectors.

After doing research, we wrote two possible futures according to future research methods. One is negative, this could possibly happen if we continue as we are doing now. The other is positive, what can possibly happen when we change in cooperation with TU.

Do you SHIFT or do you SHAME?
‘‘We all want to take good care of the environment, but we just don’t know how to do it. Now we are ashamed for not taking action. Shift to save the environment, yourself and humankind’’.
The end products

The extensive research has been condensed and summarised in a compact research report. In addition, two translations of these possible futures have been written. To create an atmosphere and give the research more power, the idea behind the research has been visualised on an exhibition.

My role

My role within this research was, together with the others, to carry out the research, to design and assemble the report, to brainstorm together about the exhibition and to execute the exhibition.
